Chicago Screws (no I don’t make up these names) …what are they? Chicago Screws are metal or plastic screws almost the same as you would tighten with screw driver. However, with Chicago Screws, they can be loosened or tightened or separated with a 10 cent dime or a finger nail. Ninety nine percent of the time, Chicago Screws are used to bind paper, swatch books and other paper product. The main value or function of Chicago Screws is the ability to give the user for example to add or take out sheets. In an eblast nearly three years ago, I displayed various pictures of books and swatch books. In this instance, there is a different application. Yes, paper is being bound, but with 2 wooden strips, with string to act as a wall hanger! An unusual application. I encourage you to look for different or unusual applications for your printed product.
Thanks for watching.
